As managing editor of the periodical the Chronicle of the University of California, Dr. Brentano is interested in all periods and aspects of the history of UC on all its campuses. Her special interest is campus architecture and planning and she has recently published "A Case Study of the 1915 University of California Faculty" in Computing Techniques and the History of Universities (1997); "The Two Berkeleys: City and University Through 125 Years" in Minerva (1995); and "Stately and Glorious Buildings" in Planning History (1994).
