Jonathan Henke

Jonathan Henke is a research associate in the Center's Higher Education in the Digital Age program and the Center's webmaster.

He has a master's degree from UC Berkeley's School of Information, with emphases in evaluation of information systems, user interface design, and database design. An award-winning Web developer, Henke developed UC Berkeley's Digital Chemistry 1A site, which received the 2001 Educational Initiatives Award for distinctive contributions to undergraduate education; he also received the 2000 James R. Chen Award for outstanding master's degree project. Prior to joining CSHE, Henke was the data manager and analyst for a large social science research project at the University of California at San Francisco medical school. His publications and presentations span the fields of evaluation, technology, psychology, and medicine.

Henke is currently working on the Digital Resources Study; he previously worked with the Digital Chem 1A Evaluation Project.
