Sophia Krzys Acord Sophia Krzys Acord is a specialist researcher at UC Berkeley's Center for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE), working on the The Future of Scholarly Communication Project. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at The University of Exeter, U.K. and holds an MRes (Masters of Research Methodology) in Sociology (also from Exeter), and a BA in Sociology & Anthropology (minor in Interpretation Theory) from Swarthmore College. She is a pre-doctoral fellow at Yale University’s Center for Cultural Sociology and at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales’ Group for the SocioAnthropology of the Fine Arts (Paris).
