The UC History project provides a scholarly venue for the study and dissemination of publications and electronic material on the history of the ten-campus University of California system, and how it relates to the role of higher education in California's society and economy.

The UC History project is under the direction of Dr. John Douglass.

History of the UC Presidency

Chronicle of the University of California: a scholarly journal on the history of the University of California, organized around single themes that present an inherent longitudinal view of the university's development.

Previous Projects:

UC History Digital Archives: provide access to a growing collection of digitized historical documents, images and materials, along with past and current analysis on the history of the University of California.
