The Economist cited a recent study by Igor Chirikov, Senior researcher at the Center for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE), on the effect of AI. “He found the number of top marks being handed out in courses that involve skills AI is good at, such as writing and coding, has soared since ChatGPT launched in late 2022. The share of “A” grades in these subjects has risen 13 percentage points, or about 30% from the baseline.”
