At the Center for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE) at UC Berkeley, we host a variety of events aimed at fostering dialogue, research, and collaboration in the field of higher education. Our key events include:

Webinar Series

Our Webinar Series features prominent researchers addressing significant trends emerging in higher education. These online events provide a platform for experts to share insights and engage with a global audience on topics such as international collaborations, academic freedom, and equity in education. Recordings of past webinars are available on the CSHE YouTube page.

Clark Kerr Lecture Series

Established in 2001, the Clark Kerr Lecture Series honors former University of California President Clark Kerr. This biennial series provides a forum for analysis and reflection on the forces shaping universities and their roles in modern society. Lectures are delivered by distinguished figures in higher education and are held across the University of California campuses.

Higher Education Researchers Workgroup

The Higher Education Researchers Workgroup brings together qualitative and quantitative researchers focusing on issues at UC Berkeley, the University of California system, and beyond. The goal is to facilitate the mutual exchange of knowledge, ideas, and issues through collaborative discussions and presentations.
