Bio:
Nino Pataraia is professor of Innovations Management, director of Business Research Center, Higher Education Authorization and Accreditation expert for the National Center for Quality Enhancement and European Council for Business Education. Nino also leads dual MBA and Doctoral Programmes in Business Administration at Ilia State University, Georgia. Nino is the speaker/head of the International Doctoral School and is actively involved in developing Co-tutelle agreements and exploring opportunities for joint/dual doctoral programmes. Nino graduated from the European Joint Master Programme from the Universities of Aveiro (Portugal), University of Oslo (Norway) and the University of Tampere (Finland). Nino acquired her doctoral degree (PhD) from Glasgow, UK. Her PhD research project examined the role of networks in innovation and change management. Nino has previously worked in public/private universities (teaching, student counselling services, HRM Department/Career Development Centre) and with British Petroleum (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Gas/Oil Pipeline Projects) for several years. Nino has several years of experience in teaching, research and counselling. Nino manages diverse research projects funded by EU Horizon 2020, Volkswagen Foundation and other donors. Nino was the dean of the largest Business School in Georgia from 2015 September to 2017 December. She is the author of several scientific papers, frequent presenter at international conferences and the finalist of several prestigious fellowship programmes. Nino’s experience in former international projects includes: Networked Innovations, Learning through Networks, Entrepreneur Alumni Network, Regional Competitiveness and her teaching focus and experience relate to Research Methods, Research design, HRM, Entrepreneurship and SNA.
