Gökçe Garip is a Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate School of Education, Gazi University, Türkiye. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kocaeli University and a bachelor’s degree in American Culture and Literature from Hacettepe University. She is also a navy officer (lieutenant) in the Turkish Navy and serves as a military faculty at the National Defense University, Turkish Naval Academy. Her areas of research interests include higher education, research universities, undergraduate research, and curriculum development and evaluation. Gökçe’s doctoral dissertation focuses on undergraduate research experiences at American and Turkish research universities. She is a member of the American Educational Research Association and a graduate student reviewer for AERA annual meetings paper and session submissions.
