Polina Pekker is currently a Ph.D. student at Lomonosov Moscow State University Eduactional Studies Faculty. She got Bachelor degree in Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and Master degree in Management at MSU, also Polina received additional professional qualification at Lomonosov Moscow State University Educational Studies Faculty.
The focus of her research work these days is considering ways of measuring effectiveness of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). She has published several articles on the demand of online courses in Russian regions, professional competences of online learning educators and online learning effectiveness in peer-reviewed Russian journals, as well she has presented research results at leading international conferences on online education organized by EARLI (The European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction), INTED (The annual International Technology, Education and Development Conference) and others in Tampere, Sevilla, Valencia, Helsinki, Paris and Moscow. Moreover she won a grant from European Association of Technology Enhaced Learning (EATEL) for the 13th Joint European Summer School 2017 in Portugal, Aveiro.
