Helena Brykarz is responsible for the administration of CSHE. Previously, she worked with a range of international organizations, successfully recruiting leaders, creating new initiatives, fundraising, as well as managing programs and operations. Through her grantmaking experience at foundations, including Goldman and Skoll, she assisted in the development of major awards programs. Helena also created an innovative funding initiative to foster collaboration between human rights and environmental organizations. Plus, she is a co-founder of Rainforest Alliance. Helena served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Congo (formerly Zaïre) and later was on Peace Corps staff. She has a Masters in Environmental Studies from the Yale University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester.
