SERU 2022

"Student Success and Wellbeing at Research Universities"

It is with great pleasure that the SERU team invites you to the 2022 Virtual SERU Research Symposium "Student Success and Wellbeing at Research Universities" on June 15-16, 2022.

The 2022 SERU Research Symposium will provide a venue to discuss best practices and initiatives that facilitate student success and wellbeing at research-intensive universities in the (post)pandemic era. It will explore how the COVID-19 pandemic, racial injustices and economic inequalities have affected student learning, engagement, sense of belonging, satisfaction, plans, mental health and wellbeing in undergraduate and graduate education. We welcome both research-focused submissions or those that emphasize practical aspects of using SERU data to inform campus policies and programs. The symposium will include pre-recorded presentations and live virtual sessions on June 15 and 16 with Q&A and panel discussions with presenters.

We invite proposals for presentations from SERU campus representatives and researchers that work with SERU and gradSERU data (graduate students are welcome!) in the following tracks:

I: Undergraduate Education
  • Undergraduate Student Success
  • Undergraduate Student Health and Wellbeing
  • Sense of Belonging, Equity and Inclusion in Undergraduate Education
  • International Perspectives on Student Success and Wellbeing in Undergraduate Education
II: Graduate and Professional Education
  • Graduate and Professional Student Success
  • Graduate and Professional Student Health and Wellbeing
  • Sense of Belonging, Equity and Inclusion in Graduate and Professional Education
